INTERNATIONAL CHILD ABDUCTION
SITUATION:
A public figure’s child was abducted and taken internationally in early summer 2025.
SOLUTION:
SRG immediately began investigating the facts of the case, and created a task force including our cyber and intelligence teams to help conduct a recovery operation.
The chase led us across 8 countries. With the recovery operation taking place with local South African authorities, US government agencies, and SRG operators. The child was returned to the parent unharmed.
BUSINESS RANSOMWARE ATTACK
SITUATION:
Summer 2024, a large waste management company was the target of a debilitating cyber attack with ransomware. The hackers demanded a ransom in crypto after gaining access to personal and business banking, as well as taking control of the company’s domain, bringing operations to a halt.
SOLUTION:
SRG immediately dispatched a Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT) to assess the situation and stop any further damage to the system or the brand’s reputation.
Our cyber experts were able to regain control of the systems, domain, and worked with the existing IT contractor to stop the crisis.
SRG built a new network, including constant threat hunting on every device, and protects the company to this day.
POLITICAL EVENT SECURITY
SITUATION:
In October 2025, a political event was held with numerous high profile attendees including representatives from Turning Point USA.
SOLUTION:
SRG coordinated with local, county, and state level agencies to secure the event which had multiple VIP visitors from various levels of government. SRG coordinated the application of defense in layers ensuring the security of all VIPs and attendees.
